State of the 4545 League

It's the start of a wonderful new season, hopefully everyone is setting into their new teams! As mentioned this is the largest season we've ever had, therefore, logically, it will be the best. I’m sure the mods are being run ragged, so be sure to show them some love when you get the chance.

In addition to newer players, we’ve also attracted some new titled players, so the competition on board 1 should be even fiercer than usual!

We've just finished the 1st of 8 rounds, and although its too early to make any real judgements, We Will Quarantine Your King leads with 6.5 points from their first match. Round 2 went out today, so we're looking forward to seeing how the standings shift

Side-leagues News

We're finishing up Round 8 of the Lonewolf tournament, only three more rounds to go after this! There's currently a 4-way tie for first in the open section, while CarlosMagnussen is back on top in the U1800. Sadly the deadline to enter the league has passed, but if you're looking for more chess action why not check out some of our other side leagues like crazyhouse, 960 or our wonderful blitz battles (there's going to be on on 4/18/20)
